Eddy is a CFI/CFII with more than 25 years of flying experience and a lifelong passion for aviation. When he’s not in the cockpit, he serves as Senior Vice President of Software Development for the world’s largest container shipping company — a role that sharpens the precision, systems thinking, and calm decision‑making he brings to flight instruction.
PropFlying was created from Eddy’s desire to share the joy of aviation and help new pilots build strong, safe foundations. His technical background and instrument expertise make him especially well‑suited to guide students through the challenges of IFR flying, where discipline and clear thinking matter most.
Eddy’s focus is to tailor training to each individual student so they can learn efficiently and make the most progress in the shortest amount of time. His mission is simple: develop pilots who are safe, confident, and always learning. As he often says, “A good pilot never stops learning.”
Nathan Chose
CFI/CFII, Commercial Single-Engine Land, Commercial Multi-Engine Land
Nathan is a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) with Commercial Single-Engine and Multi-Engine privileges. Originally from Vancouver, Washington, he now calls Ephrata home and is passionate about helping pilots achieve their goals while supporting the growth of aviation throughout Central Washington.
Inspired by stories of his great-grandfather, who flew during World War II, Nathan began his aviation journey by earning his Private Pilot Certificate in Camas, Washington. He later completed his Instrument, Commercial, and Multi-Engine training at Central Washington University before earning his CFI and CFII certificates at Midwest Corporate Air.
Throughout his aviation training, Nathan learned from numerous instructors with diverse backgrounds and teaching styles. Those experiences shaped an adaptable approach to instruction and reinforced his belief that every student learns differently. By drawing from a variety of teaching methods, he tailors training to each student’s goals, experience level, and learning style.
Nathan’s favorite part of instructing is helping students achieve milestones they once thought were out of reach while building lasting relationships within the local aviation community. He remains committed to continuous growth as both a pilot and instructor while helping strengthen and support general aviation throughout Central Washington.
